How Do I Donate To Your Collections?

The People’s Archive at the DC Public Library thanks you for becoming a part of the story of Washington, DC.  Our archival collections document the political, social, and cultural history of the nation’s capital including, but not limited to, local politics (e.g., Home Rule, Statehood), racial/social justice movements, LGBTQIA+ culture, Go-Go and punk music, and ethnic and immigrant communities.

Please complete a Donation Questionnaire if you are interested in donating materials.  Donations are reviewed for approval by our department monthly.  Please contact us at peoples.archive@dc.gov or (202) 727-1213 for more information.
