What does it mean if an item says On Order, and the place in queue for my hold is 0?

Answer

Some items in the catalog have the call number ON-ORDER. This means it is an item that the library has purchased, but is not yet physically available for checkout. You may still place a hold on these items, but your place in the hold queue will show as 0 until the item is available. At that time, holds will begin to be fulfilled and your correct place in line will show.
