Do you have school yearbooks?

How can I view yearbooks from your collection?

Answer

The People's Archive, DC Public Library's local history center, collects local school yearbooks. You can see a list of our yearbooks here. Yearbooks can not be checked out, but patrons can receive up to 20 pages of scans per week. Request scans by filling out this form or send an e-mail to peoples.archive@dc.gov.

If you don't see the yearbook you are looking for, consider contacting the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archive. They also collect local yearbooks.

If you have yearbooks you would like to donate from a local middle school, high school, or university, please e-mail us at peoples.archive@dc.gov.
